LUXURY TRAVEL IN SPACE
Hello again, it’s Rocketman, Ken Baxter from sunny, Las Vegas, NV and welcome to my blog.
On July 28, 2020 the long awaited reveal of Virgin Galactic’s SpaceShip Two interior cabin was finally here. In accordance with the Coronavirus protocol the event was held virtually.
The accommodations were a sight to behold, as luxurious as I had imagined and planned entirely around the astronaut experience, including:
- Individually sized, reclining seats for G-force management and float zone volume;
- Automated mood lighting harmonizes with each flight phase;
- Personal seat back screens connect astronauts to live flight data;
- Cabin architecture facilitates effortless movement in weightlessness;
- 16 cameras provide high definition footage and stills;
- 12 cabin windows for astronauts to gaze at Earth from;
- Largest mirror in a spaceship cabin – mirror reflects the real-time astronaut experience.

The beauty and comfort of the VSS Unity was breathtaking. I appreciated the incredible focus on every detail only increasing my anticipation for the realization of my dream. As Virgin representatives explained:

The photos I don’t believe will do the real cabin justice, I really can’t wait to see it in person!
